OUR MISSION
Dreamborne Theater is a New York-based nonprofit performance collective committed to developing and presenting cross-cultural performing arts rooted in dreams, myth, and memory.
Through ritualistic and fantastical works, we investigate the evolving nature of identity, language, and culture, embracing the fragmented self as a space of transformation, rebirth, and fairytale.
Alongside our artistic productions, we offer educational programs that empower individuals to engage with myth and ritual as creative tools for self-discovery and collective storytelling.

Dreamborne Theater is a nonprofit theater organization co-founded by JC CHANG and YANNIS NING in April 2025, dedicated to fostering artistic collaboration and theatrical exploration.
Programming & Collaborations
Over the past two years, Dreamborne Theater has developed a diverse range of programming across New York City, bringing together artists across disciplines to foster creative exchange and experimentation. Each fall, spring, and summer, we develop and present original and reimagined works that reflect and advance our artistic mission.
